Description: Awesome highest quality late 19th century gold seed pearl slide bracelet with feature tassels. The fancy shaped slide adorned with a 3D setting of diamond shaping and ribbed arcs atop which sits a seed pearl beautifully accented with t’aille d’epargne (black enamel tracery) . T'aille d'epargne is an enamelling technique which an etched design is filled with enamel then fired in a kiln. The slide features a tassel of 3 fox chain and the end has 7 with bead tips. The bracelets solid rings form a mesh which is a sturdy heavy-duty type. Stamped/Hallmarked: no - all components tested and guaranteed to be 12 carat gold Colour: very soft yellow gold with rose highlights Maker: unknown - US origin Size: for all wrists with largest circumference of 22cm, slide measures 1.5cm square and 1.34cm high and bracelet 9mm wide. Weight: a substantial 21 grams Condition: Near Mint if not for a ring missing at the edge - it's the 3rd one away from the slide. It is not visible when being worn as the bracelet passes over the top of it. It is also very secure and will not be damaged if treated with care. A reputable jeweller would be able to replace this but we feel it is not needed. The enamel is intact and the tassels show no wear at all. This is a very rare and incredibly impressive bracelet.
