This Art Nouveau style locket presents beautifully and still has
its original sales swing tag attached. I’ve not come across one with such
magnificent design and styling. The locket’s body has a yellow gold hue with
the front featuring a fabulous repousse design that encompasses a plain, rose
gold hued disc/cartouche perfect for engraving with one’s monogram. The gold
has a matt-like sheen that is shiny yet has developed the patina of time.
The back in plain and smooth and inside includes both the
original frames & covers although they are a little cloudy with age. The original
jump ring is hanging from the fixed bail which will accommodate a chain of your
choice.
The locket has the silky smooth feel usually only associated
with solid carat gold and expected of quality antique jewellery.

OVERALL
Near MINT Antique condition! There is only one detail to mention; a nick to the back edge
which is an old test mark (it shows juts how thick the gold coverage is) that
is barely obvious. There are no detracting elements to note – no wear, dents or
repairs – it is otherwise as new. It is extremely rare to offer a locket this
age in this near Pristine condition – it is NOT to be missed. It is a Stunning
over one century old ready for you to include your own mementoes to wear close
to your heart.
