A locket from the romantic and nostalgic Victorian era
in this condition is very Rare.
It is an Exceptional example of MUSEUM QUALITY from the era showcasing two
different hand-chased floral designs and is completely intact!
With a soft pink/rose gold hue externally, inside
encloses the ORIGINAL inserts - GLASS covers, backing papers and
frames - to secure pictures. The original owner’s keepsake of hair is in situ
but could easily be removed. The hinge is in perfect working order and the
locket clicks closed securely.
Its hue is a soft pink/rose typical of the era with that
silky smooth feel of solid carat gold. The craftsmanship really is
Extraordinary.
