This Antique Victorian Bangle Bracelet has such stunning design
& styling and is so much more impressive in person than in the pictures. It
is styled on top somewhat like a belt which was common place in Victorian
times. At the centre is a raised “loop” with Rose Gold detailing and further
embellishments also of rose hue. It is a great contrast to the understated yellow
hue of the bangle’s body which features a scrolling foliate design set upon a
richly stippled background continuing around to the back, also where a
cartouche is featured. Please enlarge
the pictures for a close-up – the attention-to-detail is amazing.
The body of the bracelet has squared off edges and it is an
elongated oval shape. The clasp is released by pressing in the tab. The clasp
clicks closed securely and the hinge is in excellent working order. A safety
chain is in place for additional security.
It has the
silky smooth feel usually only associated with solid carat gold and expected of
quality antique jewellery. Its hue is a warm, Antique buttery yellow with
the Rose Gold accents and is so much nicer than the pictures suggest.
