What an Absolutely Awesome Bangle Bracelet of solid,
quality English construction! With a warmer yellow hue, this bracelet features
a diamond cut stylized floral & scrolling foliate design scrolling across
the top and a smidge past the hinge and clasp with a design I liken to the
risining sun - Amazing! The delicate diamond cut detailing really makes the
design stand out and catch the light beautifully. A plain rim frames the design
top and bottom - the pictures really do provide the best description.
The hinge opens & closes smoothly and the
tongue and box clasp clicks shut with a snap. There is absolutely, positively
no way this one will fall off! A safety chain is in place for added
security.
It has that lovely silky smooth feel usually
only associated with solid carat gold. The gold has a shiny, mirror-like
finish.

c1950s
Trademark: P/S
Maker: of the
United Kingdom
Material:
9ct gold with a metal core - probably 1/5th as most were
Gold Purity: 9ct gold (stamped)
Being 9ct gold with a metal core
means it is that this a solid
bangle with a thick shell of 9 carat gold bonded to a
jeweller’s alloy or metal core. It is 1/5th which refers to the amount of
gold in the construction - the gold is 4 times thicker when compared to
standard rolled gold.
Bangles with a metal core wear much better than
bangles without one as they are easily dented and crushed. The metal core
provides durability and strength to their construction. They were known
to come with a warranty of 20 years and longer.
