Rarely do I have the pleasure to present such a Fabulous Antique
English Rose Gold Locket it is double sided so perfect to enclose pictures of
loved ones to wear close to your heart. I am always taken by the quality
construction of English jewellery and this is certainly no exception.
It is substantial and of classic, elegant design and styling. Each
side features a different stone Carnelian and Onyx superbly framed by the
feature scroll work at the top. It doubles as the bail housing the jump ring ready
to attach a favourite necklace to.
Inside houses the original frames/bezels one with a glass
cover and a sweet little baby picture from the Victorian era. The hinge and
clasp are in perfect working order.
It has that silky smooth feel of solid carat gold and to be
expected of Quality antique jewellery. It has a very soft, rose gold hue so much nicer than the pictures suggest.
